EriqX[.com] Wins 2004 Vagueness Award!

Eriq Tews was present Monday evening to accept the 2004 Vagueness Award on behalf of his online presence, EriqX[.com]. The site, launched in late 2002 has often been lauded for it's uncommon content and unique position in the virtual world where nothing really matters. This is the site's first recognition with an official reward.

The award-winning piece, a Thought entitled "Unlikable", was described by EriqX regular Matthew Johnson as "The longest, vaguest thing ever". Other readers have been scratching their heads over the piece, which was first published on the site August 19th. Overheard at the gala event following the award ceremony, reader Scott Baxter was heard to have said that [Unlikable] was, "Totally vague as hell". He could not be reached to elaborate further.

The piece is admittedly vague, says it's author, not giving anything else away in a statement following the evening ceremony, which took place in Milwaukee's Italian Community Center.

The Vagueness Award has honored the finest in seemingly befuddling publications found across the web since 2004, and is proudly given each year to writers of content demonstrating only the highest degree of ambiguity.
