Mike and Jessica's Hot New Years ActionMike and the lovely Lady-J will be generously sharing their new house as well as their alcohol supply in order to ease us into 2005. Festivities will include partying, mingling, drinking, and if traditions hold true, a little kissing. Bring something to eat or drink if you can. Dune Movie NightWith the success of the Dune Hella-Thon, I've had more than one request to show the original 1984 David Lynch version. Dune Mini-Series Hella-thon Join the nerd-elite for a Saturday evening / Sunday morning Sci-Fi extravaganza. Back-to-back, we will be watching both the extended director's cut of the Sci-Fi channel's Dune miniseries, and the sequel Children of Dune miniseries. Last summer, I undertook the same journey, which totaled 10 and a half hours including breaks and dinner. This year Eric has generously offered to host, which means the audience will be treated to a projector viewing of the whole thing. So, all those willing, get rested, get your geek on, bring some food or beverage to help out the cause. Bring some cash cause it's likely we will all just order some pizza half way through. It's been 2 years since the last "slutty" Halloween party, hosted by Ian and Michelle.
