Just thought I'd share. 07-MAR-2003 / 23:33 Added a new event and a new Quickie. Check out the Quickie - it's an original commercial for The Legend of Zelda. 1980s commercials are hysterical. I have also made some good progress on the upcoming Mars Attacks section. 05-MAR-2003 / 18:49 I'm currently working on a "Mars Attacks" section. This will simply be the complete original set of 1962 trading cards. Pictures and text included. There have been a few new pictures and Restaurant Art pieces over the last several days. 23-FEB-2003 / 14:42 Launched the Pictures section today. There are only a handful of shots up, but the bugs are worked out, and I actually incorperated javascript to get it working. Which is an accomplishment for me, since I am not so highly web-savvy most times. [22:58]: Added Restaurant Art to the Elements section, thus officially launching Elements out of its "coming soon" stage. The Restaurant Art is only a few pieces, but it's coming along. More to come, of course. 15-FEB-2003 / 11:14 Changed the site over to ECJT[.com] finally. Did some behind-the-scenes work on the Elements section, hopefully that will be ready soon. 27-JAN-2003 / 20:35 Touched up the about page today. It's looking complete so I removed the "under construciton" tag. I will be adding more to it later, however. 26-JAN-2003 / 03:47 Added a home menu option to all pages. Changed the main page. Did some work on a splash that may not go into use. 25-JAN-2003 / 17:41 Got a few things done today. Up front the main page is a little more structured, although there is still little content. I have catagorized for now, and I have added an articles directory. Behind the scenes, I created a central location for my style sheets, so now all pages in current and future sub directories will all find them. There is also a Journal update 19-JAN-2003 / 01:00 Got some work done on the about page, as well as the About Eriq page tonight. 15-JAN-2003 / 22:47 Slight main page edit. Added new events. Added "coming soon" to the projects page. Currently working on the new section to house "Restaurant Art" and various other misc elements. [23:36]: Added new "Elements" section, named after the previous entry's simple discernment. 11-JAN-2003 / 19:08 Added a "Locations" menu, which can be accessed by going into the "Events" section. I figure this will become useful over time as more and more events cycle through. It will basically provide addresses and maps to places I frequent. 08-JAN-2003 / 18:19 Added a "Last Backup" indicator to the main page, just below the "Last Update" indicator. It's pretty much just for me, to remind me to backup the site now and again. The background is finally to my liking. Its the average Photoshop hack to a beautiful picture I took of a young woman's eye at Dennys. Front Page is currently my farewell to the forum, which is 10 times the activity my front page normally receives. There is nothing quite like viewer feedback to keep a site interesting. 06-JAN-2003 / 00:55 I have decided not to go forward with the "Dreams" section. So I have removed it from the side menu. If I do end up getting it done, I will put it on dark playground. The idea seems better suited for that site anyway. I added the "Jesus Loves Us" cartoon to the main page. Since the main page is kinda up in the air right now, I'd like to keep it somewhat fresh until I have some other things finished, and more time to dedicate to it. 01-JAN-2003 / 14:16 Journal update.
